Our Mission

The goal of La Petite Indochine is to help create a sustainable organization that supports Cambodian children.  La Petite Indochine is owned and operated by The Global Child, a nonprofit organization, that gives Cambodia street children a chance to receive an education they would never get at home.  All the profits from La Petite Indochine go directly towards funding our philanthropic efforts at The Global Child.

Not only does The Global Child provide access to education for disadvantaged Cambodian children, but also a place to stay in, a healthy and nurturing environment. Many families in Cambodia rely on their children as wage earners.  Therefore The Global Child , pays each student a dollar a day to replace the lost income.  At The Global Child we believe every child has the right to an education, and you can help.  So book your stay at La Petite Indochine today knowing that your money fully supporting a great cause, or give directly by going to The Global Child’s website.

Carved into the doors at La Petite Indochine and hidden throughout this site is the Chinese symbol for perspective.  We at La Petite Indochine and at The Global Child have embraced this symbol. As Cambodia begins to emerge from its dark and tumultuous past we gain perspective on the world around us by giving back and helping to create a new generation of students ready to accept the challenges faced by modern Cambodia.  Perspective has also helped us create this unique hotel in the heart of downtown Siem Reap where staying in luxury doesn't have to be selfish.
